Island conservation is where my interests lie, in particular with threatened species management on islands. My project is reviewing the progress made towards implementing island conservation commitments made by island nations and nations with islands in the context of the Global Island Partnership (GLISPA). The project will examine the weaknesses and strengths effecting implementation, with consideration to both national and regional scale delivery models. The project aims to better inform island practitioners and decision makers to effect island conservation commitments.
