I am generally interested in maximising conservation effectiveness through planning for multiple objectives, emerging markets and socio-political factors. Also, how we successfully implement research findings and influence policy. My current research identifies cost-effective, spatially-explicit priorities for improved fire and grazing management. I also account for the influence of carbon credits. When I am not trying to save the world, I enjoy exploring new places, bushwalking, playing music and drinking caipirinha.
