Science meets Parliament this week

The 11th annual Science meets Parliament (SmP) is being held this week in Canberra, where over 160 scientists from around Australia will meet with Ministers, Senators and Members over two full days.

Dr. Kerrie Wilson is one of five scientists nominated by the Australian Research Council to attend the event, which is being organised by the Federation of Australian Scientific and Technological Societies (FASTS). The event will involve discussion about the policy making process and how scientists can successfully engage with policy makers, followed by a day of focussed meetings between scientists and parliamentarians.
