I am currently in the final year of an undergraduate science degree majoring in Ecology. Having volunteered to work over a Summer Semester under the supervision of Assoc. Professor Kerrie Wilson and Dr. Angela Guerrero Gonzalez, I am now delighted to be working for them in a part time capacity as a Research Assistant.
The main focus of our project is examining successes and failures in threatened species conservation in Australia, and identifying common regulatory, governance, and social factors that may be influential.
As a mature student from Scotland, who first explored the amazing Australian landscape 10 years ago as a backpacker, my career aspirations lie in land conservation and restoration.
