Alexander undertook an Honours project that aimed to identify potential correlations between land use change and regional precipitation patterns in Kalimantan, Borneo.  His work was incorporated into ongoing work with the Borneo’s Future Project.  His supervisors were Kerrie Wilson and Clive McAlpine.
